Purple

Hmmm...  Not much going on around here.  Tetsu had to work yesterday on Sunday, so I went to church alone and planned to go buy myself a Mother's Day present (I need new shoes).  But dang it all if I didn't go all that way only to get to church and realize I'd left my wallet at home!  No money, no cards, no change, no nothing!  That put a dimmer on my mood but I WAS at church and it is a small mishap.  After church I went to Tetsu's mother's to wish her a happy Mother's Day but I couldn't even buy her (or myself) an obento lunch box.  I did bring her a cheesecake from a shopping jaunt the day before and we enjoyed a slice together.

In my miscellaneous photo file I have a couple of photos of purple flowers...  First this.  What is this? An empty lot on the edge of a forest.  And way in the back there?

 I do believe that is wild wisteria!

There are beautiful, groomed, historical wisteria trees in our community, but this flora is just in an old factory lot. 

 

We don't need to visit a botanical garden to enjoy a beautiful display of wisteria!

And on my way to the grocery store I took a back road that led me past a beautiful field of clover!  This is being cultivated for something because all the surrounding fields were rice fields.  It sure was pretty though!

The landscape around me is clothed in royal purple!
