Guests

Surprise!  We have guests for two days!
Takumi and Julieta-san and Julieta-san's brother Augustine, arrived in Japan yesterday afternoon and by evening we met them in at the train station.  They have two days with us in Nikko and then the three of them will go on to other parts of Japan.
So... no blogging until I see them safely off to their next destination!

    I've been wondering why you call Julieta "Julieta-san", while call other Americans in your family by just their given name...

    Is there a distinction I'm missing?

    Why is there a - san after the females name? I see you do this often. I am confused.
