February update

Let's see what February brought us...

I've been experimenting with different online drawing classes.  I tried sketching for awhile and then I tried Whimsical sketching.

This is from my sketching class.

And something I tried on my own.

Sandy Allnock's Whimsy class was great fun but each page took SO MUCH TIME!

I made a smaller page in my bullet journal and combined a previous whimsy lesson on birds, and then colored it all in.

I've now moved on to a Typography for Bible Journalers class, also by Sandy Allnock.

They make for nice small additions to my bullet journal.

From Takumi and Julieta we get news that their new doggie, Pollo is slowly getting used to his new family.   I hope Hazy is happy with the new family member.

The family doesn't live far from Idyllwild, California and they get up to the mountains whenever they can.  Idyllwild has a Golden Retriever for their mayor!  Mayor Max!  I love this photo!

Of course at the end of every month I have to give a Luka update!

And outside enjoying a warm day.

Tony got Luka dressed up and presented him to Leiya as her valentine present.

Luka has been to a children's play park and he is learning how to make friends.  He is also beginning to talk and likes B words.  Birds.  Blueberry.  But Daddy is still his favorite word!

As for quilting?  Nothing yet ready to show!
